The Three Roles
There is one Organization Admin per account, and they never use a seat. Every active Manager and active Field Officer occupies one seat — so plan for both when you size your team.
How Seats Are Counted
Your plan’s seat limit is the number of active members you can have at once — Managers and Field Officers combined, in any mix. For example, the Field plan includes 15 seats: you could run 3 Managers and 12 Field Officers, 15 Field Officers and no extra Managers, or any other combination up to 15 active members. The Organization Admin sits outside this count. Every Manager and Field Officer is in one of three states:- Active — can sign in and use Terriqon, and occupies one seat.
- Archived — kept on your account with their full profile and history, but cannot access the platform or the mobile app and does not use a seat.
- Pending — has been invited but hasn’t accepted yet. Pending invites do not use a seat, so you can queue people in advance without eating into your cap; the seat is only consumed once they accept and become Active.
Managing Seats
To free up a seat, archive a Manager or Field Officer who is no longer active:- Go to Team and select the member.
- Choose Archive. They keep their profile and history but lose access to Terriqon, and their seat is released for someone else.
If you are on the Command plan and need capacity beyond 150 seats, contact your account manager to discuss a custom arrangement.
The Organization Admin never counts toward your seat total. Only active Managers and Field Officers use seats — archived members of either role do not.
