# Introduction to Terriqon: AI-Powered Field Reporting

> Terriqon connects field data collection to verified, funder-ready reports automatically. Learn what Terriqon does and how it fits your field programme.

Terriqon is an offline-first field reporting platform built for organizations that operate where connectivity is unreliable and accountability to funders is non-negotiable. It connects your field team's raw data submissions to polished, AI-generated reports — with mandatory human approval at every step - so you spend less time writing and more time doing the work that matters.

## What Terriqon does

Terriqon compresses reporting that once took weeks into a workflow measured in hours - with the AI draft itself generated in minutes. The platform follows three clear stages:

1. **Build and deploy your form.** Use the drag-and-drop form builder to design your data collection form. Tag any fields that hold personal data - names, IDs, phone numbers, GPS — as sensitive, then publish the form to your field officers' devices as a Progressive Web App (PWA).
2. **Your field team submits data.** Field Officers open the Terriqon PWA on their phone or tablet and fill in the form - whether they're online or deep in a zero-signal zone. Submissions are stored locally and auto-sync to the platform the moment connectivity returns.
3. **AI drafts the report; you approve it.** Once enough validated submissions are available, Terriqon's AI works only on aggregated, anonymised data - fields you tagged as sensitive are excluded from the pipeline entirely - and drafts a structured report. A manager reviews the draft and either approves it for download or rejects it with written feedback. No report leaves the platform without a named human sign-off.

## How Terriqon is organized

Everything in Terriqon lives inside a **Project** - the container that holds your forms, your team, your targets, and your reports. Within a project you can either track individual entities over time (beneficiaries, facilities, schools, or assets, each with its own record and lifecycle status) or run simple standalone data collection with one-off forms. Progress is measured against **KPIs** and the **Activities** that move them, and the whole picture rolls up into your dashboards and AI reports.

## Who uses Terriqon

Terriqon is trusted by NGOs, social enterprises, government programmes, and commercial field operations across five core sectors.

> **Agriculture & Rural**
>
> Track crop cycles, input distribution, and farmer household data across remote plots - no connectivity required during collection.

> **Community Health**
>
> Log patient visits, vaccination coverage, and health screenings in the field. PII stripping keeps sensitive health data protected throughout the reporting pipeline.

> **Infrastructure & Sites**
>
> Record site inspections, progress milestones, and contractor compliance across multiple active sites. Generate Ops and Project reports for internal and donor review.

> **Humanitarian Ops**
>
> Capture beneficiary data, aid distribution records, and needs assessments in low-connectivity emergency zones, with automatic sync when your team reaches connectivity.

> **Development Programmes**
>
> Aggregate field data across multi-site programmes and generate Portfolio reports that give funders a consolidated view of impact across your entire operation.

## Key capabilities

* **Offline-first PWA** — Field Officers collect data with no internet connection. The app works in zero-signal zones and syncs all pending submissions automatically when connectivity returns.
* **Drag-and-drop form builder** — Design, update, and redeploy forms without writing code. Add required fields, validations, and PII-sensitive field tags from a visual interface.
* **KPI tracking & live dashboards** — Set measurable targets for each project and watch submission counts, completion rates, and data-quality scores update in real time as field data syncs.
* **AI report generation** — Generate structured reports — currently four types (Project, Ops, Donor, and Portfolio), with more planned — from aggregated, validated field submissions in minutes.
* **Automated PII protection** — Fields you tag as sensitive (names, IDs, phone numbers, GPS) are excluded from the AI pipeline entirely; reports are built only from aggregated, anonymised metrics, protecting your beneficiaries and supporting your data-protection obligations.
* **Mandatory human approval workflow** — Every AI-generated draft must be reviewed and approved by a named manager before it can be downloaded or shared. Rejections require a written reason, and the full audit trail is permanent.
* **Role-based access** — Three roles — Organization Admin, Manager, and Field Officer — give you precise control over who can build forms, generate reports, and access sensitive data. Your Organization Admin owns billing and doesn't use a seat; Managers and Field Officers together count toward your plan's seat limit (for example, the Field plan covers 15 users in total).

## Getting started

The fastest way to see Terriqon in action is to start your free 14-day trial, build a simple form, and walk through generating your first AI report. The quickstart guide takes you through every step in under 10 minutes — no credit card required.
